introduction

We are interested in Jeeping and trail riding all while having a good clean time. Some of us had went on some trail rides with other groups in the past but we wanted a group that was closer and was able to organize on a shorter notice.We decided to start the club in the ending of 2006 with 4 members . The first meeting was held in January 07 and we decided we did not want a big club with dues ,fees and mandatory meetings . At the meeting we decided on Southern Virginia Jeepers for our name.The site was launched in March of 07 with a forum and a gallery . Since then we have been doing trail rides about every 4 months on average ,but we would like to up that number.

If you would like to Join us or organize a ride with us swing into the forums .(Note: One of the mods have to approve you so it could take up to a day or two before you are registered.)Whats required you ask to join , nothing but that you come to a meeting or event so we can meet you in person .The existing members will vote to decide your membership status after meeting you. We do not have any membership dues but when a need comes up we do ask for donations such as for the web site.If you do not feel like donating no problem .As for your trail rig we are not picky we have early CJs to TJs running in the group now and are stock to wild in their modifications .The club will not force you to run any thing you do not feel like you or your rig are ready for .We are also working on our own rock garden for training and testing our skills and equipment locally.
